While at work today, someone was nice enough to cut the lock and steal my trailer...which sadly, had my
6-month old TC-35 sitting on it. Normally, it isn't left on the trailer unattended like that, but I had brought it back from the dealer after getting fluids changed and had to go to work. It only took a couple of hours for someone to find it sitting there, cut the lock, and take off. I'm a little upset as I'd just turned over 100 hours and really loved using this machine...I hate thieves.

give us numbers

Sorry for your loss. Posting the serial number of your tractor and loader, as well as your general location may help.

I wonder what he will do if something breaks on it. If he takes it to NH for the repairs they will run the number and see that it is stolen. Now you have to hope your tractor breaks down. I am sorry it was stolen, we have had stuff stolen from us but so far no one has bothered our equipment. Let us know where you are and what the serial # is so if we hear of anything we will let you know.

Chris, I hate it.... know what you feel... The post has a good picture. Does the tractor have any distinctive marks. I live just north of Morrilton, and will keep an eye out...

Oh man Chris, I think there are times I could kill someone. I'm very sorry about your loss and the disgust you must be feeling towards the jackass that took it. I have had a number of things taken from me as well and my contempt for the thieve(s) borders on insanity. I can clearly picture my hand around the guys throat squeezing off his last bit of air until he drops dead. I hope you can replace it without to much inconvenience, Rat...

I hear you Rat.. May be if we let you handle the country's capitol punishment, we'll really see a decrease in crime.

I live in your area and will keep an eye out also. I highly suggest you get the tractor out on the dealer hot list. There was a ring of this type busted a couple of years ago. They may be out of jail and at it again. I have some contacts that have the details. I will check and let you know.

Actually, what makes all of this so funny is that I was at work while this happened. Of course, being "at work" doesn't make it funny, it's the fact that me being "at work" means driving around in a patrol car 'fighting crime' AND to top it off, one of the first things I did that day was to take a report from the Mahindra dealer about one of their tractors being stolen the night before.
Oddly enough, our Kubota dealership has tractors stolen constantly, despite the 8' high fence topped with razor-wire. The Mahindra dealership is only three months old, but they've had 6 stolen...2 were Cub Cadets. Five of those were before they put in a fence and alarm system. The New Holland dealership hasn't had a theft in a couple of years...and they've got more of a decoration than a fence.
Anyway, I'm just a bit upset at all of this, and fought for hours with the insurance companies today and still don't have much for an answer. I'll quit now...'cept for one last thing. The left fender on the tractor had a chunk missing from it where a log attacked it in the woods one day.

Don't feel bad. We had a situation here where the Sheriff had captured a pretty slippery character. He jumped the fence in the yard and ran off. All the deputies and posse members were out hunting him. They called the local fire departments for back up and they all turned out. Streets were blocked off and every bush was looked at.

The next day, the local fire chief who lives about 1/4 mile away went to his garage and noticed his motorcycle was missing. Along with his wet suit.

They finally caught the escapee someplace like South Carolina. Riding a motorcycle and wearing a wet suit. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Seems he went right through the road block. Nobody was looking for a guy on a motorcycle.

That aside, one of the nurseries on the other side of the State had a tree spade stolen about a month or so ago. A TRUCK mounted tree spade that's TOO big to go down the expressway and under the over passes. Where the heck do you hide something like that?
