Have you used the County Line T-post puller sold at Tractor Supply?

I picked it up this morning and it worked great. I think it helped that I go about 185 so that came in handy getting the initial release of the post.

By the time I got to the last post I remembered the suggestion to bang the post in a bit before removing it. That seems to make sense but that post is in an area that is overgrown and I'm sure roots have grabbed hold because it wasn't going anywhere.

We are in a severe drought so I'll dump 5 gallons of water on it a few more times and try again in a couple days.

It works great. I used it last summer to pull out over 100 t-post.

I have that puller and it works well. The older the posts are the more likely, as you said, that roots may have got hold of them. Before I got the post puller I often thought that the devil himself had hold of the bottom of some of those t-posts I was trying to pull out by hand. Good idea to soften up the ground with some water.
