New to the forum and looking to see if someone has experienced this issue. In January of this year, I bought a new LS XJ2025H with FEL and BH
already mounted. I love the tractor and it has exceeded all expectations for what I use it for. (my father calls it a riding lawnmower on steroids) Well I was
clearing an area last week to build the grandson a playset, when I noticed hydraulic fluid coming from the little rubber vent tube on top of the HST. Thats when I noticed the trail of fluid on the ground where I had been working. It seemed like a lot of fluid, so I checked the dipstick, and it showed nothing on the stick. With much concern, I got a flashlight and looked down the dipstick hole and I could only see about an inch of fluid in the bottom of the HST.
Has anyone ever had this happen, or know what might have caused this to happen? Nothing BH wise or FEL wise was working abnormally, and tractor seemed to move without issue, so I'm kind of scratching my head on this one. I'm going to contact the dealer in the morning, but was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue?
