Having trouble uploading Photos.

test from url. Ok I can not upload from a URL either to the Photo area. I can from my computer. When i try to upload from a URL i get this error message. Apparently it is turned off either by accident or on purpose.

I can insert in post from Photobucket using img files But it will not upload to the Photo section from a URL Probably becuase it is turned off. There is no provision in the photo section upload area to upload img files. But it does work if you upload straight from your computer, which to me is the easiest way anyway.

Perhaps to prevent people from uploading pictures they do not have the rights to.

I understand what you are saying about uploading other peoples images.

Does that mean that if we post a link to a photo on another website in IMG tags we are breaking the rules?

Or is it only when we save the picture to our HD and then upload it to Photo Bucket or this website and then link to it?

Mike it very well could be. I was just trying to answer the original poster's question. Actually I do not understand why anyone would upload to photobucket and then to the photo section. Might as well just upload from your computer straight to the photo section. Now if you want to put the pictures inside of a post you got to upload to some site similar to Photobucket. But I do not think that was what the original guestion was asking. Don't know. I can upload to both places just have to do it different for each place.

Posting a link is fine.

I make it a practice to only upload my pictures since I own them. Keep in mind you can link to a picture anywhere on the Internet. There's no need to download it then upload it to Photobucket.
