Hawking Craigslist is Paying Off

I have been hawking Craigslist for the last year for a good quality box blade at a reasonable price, yesterday I picked up a nice 5' United 560HD.

So far my Craigslist hawking has provided me the following.

5' United 560HD Box Blade - $350
5' Alamo Fine Cut Flail Mower - $200 (have $500 in it after repairs)
5' Disc Harrow - $200
6' Frontier Landscape Rake - $400

Last on my list a 5' tiller but I have not seen any come up for sale in my area as of yet so I might have to break down and buy a new King Kutter II.

I have gotton several great deals on Craiglists.

2 Cole MX12 2 row planters mounted on a work bar $300
Kuhn 6 foot Tiller $400..... sold for $900 wish I still had that one.
2 5 ft sections of very old spike harrows $150 sold for $300 each

looking for a 6 ft pull type shredder right now... I have seen a few but just to far away.

Really looking for aobut anything I think I can sell amd make a few dollars..

My wheeling and dealings drive my wife nuts..

Finding good deals on Craigslist takes a lot of patience, and when a deal appears, it doesn't last long.

For my machine shed I got over 100 sheets of 4x8 foam 3 inches thick for $300.

i bought my international 2500 on Craig list took me about 1 year to find something i wanted.the key check many many times a day,then when you find what you want don't hesitate or it will be gone.i also bought a pair of tractor tire on rims holding air and decent shape at a great price.i didnt really need them but couldnt pass up.

As others posters have indicated, patience pays off. I have purchased several items on Craigslist that were exceptional and satisfactory deals. I did drive once all the way near Winston Salem to check on an item that was falsely represented. Win some - Lose some--"Name of the Game".

And a good deal of luck also. I found this 1945 Oliver 60 Row Crop on CL in Chico, CA (about 30 miles from my place) last year--$2250. Was just casually browsing CL using SearchTempest when this beauty popped up.
