You can skip the attitude thanks

I am not here to argue with anyone but You tell me since when has telling someone thank's for taking the time to do something is giving an attitude. How else would you have liked me to tell him that I know what a rake is and have used and worked on them more than I wan't too? It is hard to tell context in a forum but, from my point of view Lindblom had the attitude at first but what do I know? Apparently not much.
