The StaFast Hitch was invented by a dairy farmer in Indiana. I recommended them so often to farmers with disabilities, that when he retired he asked me to take over the business for him. I have a cab tractor with doors that lock. Maybe I am wrong, but I feel that he is very safe with me inside the tractor? I feel safer when he is inside the tractor with me than when he and his mother are going down the highway in their Jeep Commander with all the dangerous drivers and idiots out on the highways these days, but they still have to go places. My son loves tractors and farming. I have this tractor just because of him, so he can ride safely. I won't let him ride on the open station tractors. Maybe I am a bad father, but I sure try to be a good one?

By all means take your son with you... you sound like you are doing everything possible to be a responsible parent that spends time with your son, sharing your experiences with him... what he learns spending time with dad on the farm will shape the rest of his life in a good way. I wouldn't give up my time spent with my dad and take my sons with me as often as safety and situation allow.

Perhaps others would prefer you left your son in the care of a tv or video game... it mught be safer... they could be alone and isolated while perfecting their shoot-em-up game skills and think it's ok... grow up without a positive influence from dad... we can read about 'em in the papers in a few years... yup better not take sonny with you. Tractors are dangerous!
