HD6 clutch plate is stuck

i opened the inspection plate on top and can see the linkage trying to open the clutch plates, but they appear to be stuck or rusted together in the closed position.
Any ideas on how to free up without a complete disassembly?

It depends on "how stuck" the assembly is.

L O N G before I would disassemble anything,, I would try to tap a screwdriver/chisel into the assembly.

Most people drive around with the clutch disengaged,, about half (?) the time, the clutch will un-stick itself.
