Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on adding HDAP tires to the the John Deere 455? My 455 is a 2 wheel steer model with 26x12-12 turf tires and 60" deck.
The clearance between the deck (when raised) and tires is already tight and I'm concerned about rubbing with the HDAP's. I'd hate to spend $200+ on a new set of tires and have them not fit.
I'm not really wanting to put a set of ag/bar tires on, but still have some added traction for rough areas and wet conditions, so I feel that HDAP is the best compromise for my intended use.
Ideally, I'd like to put a set of the Carlisle Field Trax HD's or All-Trails on:

My only other concern is that these tires are 2 ply, not 4 ply. I've read a few other related threads and came to the conclusion that there isn't much of a difference between 2 vs 4 ply tires on the 400 series unless you have a front loader or have heavy loads in the rear.
-Thanks-
