Porkchop, I replaced my headgasket on my 2310 last spring. Cost about $200 including; parts, oil, antifreeze and getting the head shaved at Carquest. It is not any more difficult mechanically than a four cyl car motor and alot more accessable. The only hard problem was bleeding the fuel system to get the engine to start. That actually took longer than the rebuild. You need to bleed the fuel line to the fuel filter then the injector pump and then each line to each injector. THis is not diffucult to do, just very time consuming for the first time and frustrating because until it started I didn't know if I was doing the right thing. Got my parts and alot of advice from Len Sheaffer( thanks again). I'm sure your dealer probably could do the same if he handles parts. Also other dealers on this board who handle parts would be willing to help. If you do not have the repair manual for the YM155 I would suggest buying it. The book was very helpful and answers alot of questions.
