I just finished getting my YM2310 running after replacing the head gasket./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif Because it has 597 hours I also adjusted the valves, cleaned the radiator inside and out, cleaned the fuel tank, adjusted the throttle tensioner, checked the steering box, changed the fuel filter and fuel lines where needed, replaced the fan belt, replaced the air filter. I also fixed a support that was preventing me from using the clutch lock. I also was able to fix the starter interlock so the tractor can't be started with out the clutch ingaged. I got the parts I needed from Len Sheafner, he was extremely helpful. Now the interesting parts. My clutch was stuck, but the tractor was only down for 3 weeks. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif I was able to free the clutch by locking the clutch down and driving the tractor while hitting the brakes. After stalling a couple of times it freed up. I bleed the fuel line between the tank and injector pump with no problem. I had a hard time bleeding the three injector lines because the starter motor needed to be rebuilt. It was turning the motor over too slow. I spent almost a week trying to get the lines bleed and the tractor started. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gifOnce I fixed the starter the lines bleed right out and the tractor fired up. I have both the maintenance and operators manuals, and I couldn't have fixed everything without them. The starter problem I resolved after reading the chapter on starters. I also got alot of help from you guys./w3tcompact/icons/king.gif I had previously read all the posts at the old club and was able to reference problems I was having by looking here at TBN or looking up old posts there. The bleeding posts were really helpful as this turned out to be the biggest problem I had. My thanks to everyone who has taken the time to answer questions here or there, /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gifwithout actually having to ask one all my questions were answered by you all. This site is really a tractor saver at times
