Just ensure you that you have someone who is experienced and has the knowledge to work on them and READ and UNDERSTAND the instructions, particularly if it's an inverter system.

It will be an inverter sys. Are they more difficult then standard?

Just a quick update guys. I installed a Daikin unit. It has a 24kbtu outside unit and 3 inside units. I had been working on installing the units in my spare time and just really got the time to finish it up this week. I bought the unit thru a friend that has his own hvac biz, and he let me do the bulk of the install. He came out yesterday and we pulled a vac and purged and followed the manual to a tee. I had not closed up the insulation on all the pipes yet (in case there were any leaks at the fitting) and got all that buttoned up today. It has been running for about 10 hours or so and this thing is really sweet! I am so glad I went this route, these units are so incredibly quite it is amazing! I am getting a 15 to 16 temperature rise as it heats the air. It has power louvers that you can set rotate around so it really distributes the air well.

My father and grandfather own an HVAC business, I work there full time as an installation tech whenever I get some time off school. All we install is Carrier products, and 99% is residential, with a basic home system consisting of an outdoor unit/heat pump outside and furnace/air handler inside.
However, I was recently very intrigued by the units at my school. They put in a total of about 115 Daikin Inverter heat pumps, similar style to the one you got. We are very happy with them. Only had them for about 2 weeks of intense heat but they sure are great. They keep up withdemands of of larger buildings and the opening and closing of doors They are still fairly new, but so far so good.
