Has anyone ever used the TSC heater cabs? i have a JD4110 and use it to plow a private road and several drives. I don't want a cab for the summer, but would like more protections in the winter. I remember the heat "housers" from my youth on the farm and wonder if this would be similar. ow well do they fit, how easy to install and use, and other such information would be useful.

I had one that I bought through John Deere on my 4400 and 4600 John Deere. They use the same heater cab. Hinson Femco makes these units for TSC and John Deere. They work well as long as you have reasonable expectations. They are open on the top and back so they are not close to a real cab. But they give a nice break from the wind in your face and they are priced right. They are fairly easy to install. I think mine took about and hour or so the first time. You do have to drill holes in the fender to attach some brackets which I wasn't too excited about. But I suppose any weather protection product will require holes somewhere.

thanks. I expect it to be be similar to the old Farmall 350 i used to plow snow with. Great heading into the wind, ok going sideways, but you better have on warm clothes when going with the wind. I will probably give it a try this winter.
