I am the new owner of a 187d. the tractor has 600 hrs and seems to be in good shape. i am new to the world of yanmar and am learning as i go. i had to replace the hydro pump and i am having some issues. i bought the pump from hoyes ( i hear they are great to do business with, any thoughts?), anyway i noticed that the pump shaft was very hard to turn, i had to use a 17mm wrench to turn the shaft, is this normal? like i said i am learning all of this as i go. i have a 5 acre "hobby farm" and i hope this little tractor will work out for me. i would like to get a 4' box scrapper and maybe a disc. any suggestions on the size of implements i can use? it came with a alamo smc 2405 fel. i have not got to play around with it (because of the hydro pump) but look forward to putting it through its paces. can anyone give me some advice on what this little tractor can handle i.e. lifting cap. and towing weights? i thank you all in advance for the help and i look forward to being a part of the yanmar world and this site! with a little luck, maybe someday i can return the favor and have knowledge to help some else out. thanks again!!
