My name is Pete.
I am a Highway inspector in Pennsylvania around the York area. I am a consultant to PennDot.
I have a full woodworking shop and build 18th Century Furniture and Windsor Chairs. I like my job because I get laid off in the winter to sleep in and work as I please. I have my shop in the 2 car garage attached to my house and just started the process of designing a dream shop building with a little area to work on tractors, lawn and garden equipment.
I have not built to much this year because of maintenance of all my stuff and I just purchased a new Powermatic 2000 tablesaw with a router insert in the 50 inch extension table. It is a pretty penny.
I like to go to period artisan shows and tractor shows. My wife and I at out of doors a lot when the weather permits to work in the yard and garden and flower beds.
I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and am trying to build some muscle and get stronger with losing weight. Going good so far and have been going since Sept 2012. I am a busy body and hardly watch TV but will sit and watch a movie with the wife.
I bought my 1948 8n in 2005 and have cleaned it up and did the metal. It has a worn look but it runs great when it runs. It let me down last fall and hope that I can get it well again. I came up with one at my Grandfather's farm and had to have one when I built my home. It is great to pull a trailer full of mulch to put in the beds and garden and pull logs with for building chairs.
I guess that wraps up my intro and glad to be here.
