Hi, my name is Dan. First post here just to introduce myself. I'm a 62 year old retiree who just bought his first home after renting a nice farmhouse in the country for over 25 years. I have 4 acres, mostly open field/lawn. I bought a CC Z-Force S to mow the place, and I like it enough. I mow just over 3 acres with it, and it gets the job done in a little over two hours. I am looking to get a few smaller tractors to do ground work in the garden with, and just to tinker around with.
I really love those old CC garden tractors, but I don't know what they can and can't do, nor do I know which are the best ones to look for. I've been an organic gardener for over 30 years, mostly using hand tools and an old but reliable Troy-Bilt tiller. I'm looking to expand the garden to about an acre before I'm done, but I realize I have to step up my equipment to manage that much without killing myself.
Anyway, hope to meet some new and knowledgable online friends here and move ahead with my plans.
