ISEKI TM223
Hello,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I am french and I live in Normandy. I am fond of tractor stuff and when I found this forum I can not stand to get register. First of all I would like to apologize for my english, I will try to do my best. You guys do not know how lucky you are to live in USA. In my country CUT are not very easy to find and the price is terrific. When I read some post talking about price for attachment I wish I live in America.
I own a lawn mover Kubota G18 and sub Compact Iseki TM223 with a french made FEL (Cochet brand). I also have a tiller agric and I am waiting for woods box blade GB48 (the only one I was able to find in my country). Maybe there is some French people here ?

Your sincerely.

Blaze

Welcome Blaze, I'm sure your English is better than my French and I know that living in the USA is a great blessing. Hope you can find all the tractor stuff you need.

Welcome. You may find some Brits on here with French properties - I seem to recall a JD owner in Normandy.

One thing you may find about this forum (I have) is that how helpful, nice and friendly the posters are - compared to some of the other English/French sites I use where obnoxious posters lurk, waiting for opportunities to cause offence.

I spend some time over there too (Ferney 01) and am also taken with the higher prices. I think there is an element of protectionism (e.g. I understand Loxam cannot sell old machinery in France - to keep prices high) and also some state interferrence (e.g. SAFER and MSA).

For cheaper kit, there is a company called Vert Services in Belgium who seem to have a wide range of well priced equipment.

Enjoy!

Try Czech, Slovak Republic, Hungary or Poland for small tractor stuff. I heard that there is a glut of cheap Japanesse tillers in Slovakia.
