I am the new owner of a 1967(approx) JD 400 Backhoe Tractor, it has some issues to get it up and running with no reverse/forward and water leaking via a cylinder liner in the engine. Engine runs well (but will require a overhaul to fix the liner/s) and I believe I have found the problem with the reverser valve. Looking forward to reading your posts as well as hopefully getting some support as I will doing most of the repairs myself.

Welcome to the forum. I once stayed with distant relatives in Joondalup, not far from you, for a couple of weeks. Went 4x4 in the dunes at Lancelin, saw those petrified trees (can't remember the name), plus all the other touristy stuff. Lovely part of the world. Would love to return one day.
