Hello from Iowa....my first tractor, shes little but handy

My first tractor...although its a little one, Im finding its very handy.

I picked up a Kubota BX24 Ive aptly name Crispito.

This tractor has a story. It was next to a building that caught fire, got a little warm in a few places. Gauges worked but didnt look good, steering wheel center is a little melty looking and if you look across the hood the top is warped. Thats about the extent of the damage. Had a little more then 200 hours. I know zero about tractors....but I believe I got a fair deal at $8900.

Brought her home and did some basic stuff. Full service (lubed pins, changed all filters and fluids), replaced the gauges, adjusted the parking brake, new lights on the ROPS and shes good as new.

Got a set of 3 inch axle extensions coming for the rear......and Im going to be adding a hook setup on the bucket.

I didnt know about this site till AFTER I already bought it, but a quick look around and this is definitely going to be a great source of information.

Congrats on your purchase. Kubota is a great machine and 200 hours is nothing.

Ive only used it a couple times, spread about 4 ton of gravel to make a driveway, worked beautiful. Then I used it to dig up the gravel driveway in front of my garage, that driveway has been there for 20 years and was packed hard as concrete. Took a bit of work with the little hoe and ripping teeth but it got it done. Definitely would have been easier with a bigger machine but I got it done.

I think I bought it right enough that when/if I go to upgrade I can get all my money back. Ive already gotten a few "if you go to sell that give me first dibs" offers.
