Good morning, I’m posting the obligatory introduction so I can check this place out.
This past summer I bought an 01 4x4 790-w-a model 70 loader, 1 owner, 332hr machine. I’d been snifffing around for a while looking for a compact Tractor to help with non commercial property maintenance on our land. Good machines tend to fly off the shelf, so It took me a bit of looking, (1 year) strictly adhering to a 9.5k budget. This one was up @ the canadian border in VT, a bit of a poke from Maine but it was a great day for a drive. I’d say it’d been stored in a covered spot but just never really had any paint protection persay. I got it home, when through the machine and serviced it, cleaned off some goofy auxiliary lights, and when to work on making it look a little more respectful. Imho it came around pretty good. We’ve used it for its intended purposes, moving cord wood, moving brush for the burn pile, snow removal, granet step placement, etc etc. I really couldnt be happier with the machine. We have some projects lined up that have me keeping a constant eye on Marketplace for a 48-60” Brush hog, a #7 backhoe, and a fencepost hole digger. I’m also toying with doing a skidsteer quick disconnect type loader mount but for now the fixed bucket is fine.
Anyway, just saying hi.
