Good evening everyone. I am writing my first thread ever. I want to thank all the Case 530 people out there for your thoughts and hard work repairing those 530's . Your postings have helped immensely.
I live outside Concho, Arizona, on 80 acres. I am going to Orchard, and do some farming. I have spent 37 of the last 50 years with the USAF in different capacities. I was raised on a farm in central Ohio in the 50's and 60's
My skill sets are in the metal working and mechanical trades. I owned a prototype machine building business that is now closed to the public and supporting all the equipment on the farm. I am close to the end of a complete overhaul of a 1965 Case 530 CK. My other vehicle is a Case 1150 Crawler formerly owned by the USMC.
I hope to place the rebuild photos here in the near future. The Case is not a restoration but a full mechanical rebuild from the torque tube innards to all the peripheral parts. The only parts untouched are the fuel injection system.
I am married to a great Arizona gal for 43 years. Her and I raised our kids and are now going to farm. The plan is to build this Farm up and legacy it to our family.
I cannot say I will be an active participant on this forum. I will try to observe and pick up tricks. I think "Lurking" is the term used these days.
Thanks again for your contributions you have helped a lot.
