Tractor
IH 350 utility
Hello Everyone,

I am new to the Forum. I just want to introduce myself(just a little late from registering).

I just bought a 1957 IH 350 Tractor(my first), and am having problems with the hydraulics.

The loader bucket will roll, and my PTO works, But I can't get my loader to lift.

Would appreciate any information for this.

The control valve is a Gresen 2712 U, and the loader is a Shawnee.

I live in central New Hampshire, and would appreciate any information,
Thanks, and Have a wonderful day.

Welcome to TBN! I can't help you with the hydraulic question but I'm sure you will find many who can. I spent a week family vacation on Squam Lake 3 years ago. It is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. We boated over to Golden Pond for gas.

Thank you for the reply.

I am glad you appreciated the Beauty here on Golden Pond. I live about 4 miles from the boat house you referred to.

Are there any good camp grounds in your vicinity.

We have a motorhome(29Ft) and have wanted to visit Va.

Nice to hear from you,

Greetings from Goshen.

Thank you for your reply.

I am in hopes someone will see my post and give me some information on the Gresen valve, or what ever idea's they may have.

Have a great day,

Welcome to TBN ! Sounds like the valve may need a rebuild but you may want to post the question in the " Hydraulics" section, may get more people looking at it .

If you have Quick Disconnects in the loader lines, reset them.

A hyd pressure gauge would help troubleshoot the problem.

Hello. I'm about 10mi south of you. Start with a pressure test. Take a picture, or better yet a hose/pipe, to Sanel Auto Parts. They can help you build a test guage.
