hello from newbie in BC, Canada

Hi,

I've been using the site for a few months as a lurker, got some good tips and advice from the forum. I've decided now to come out of the shadows (wha ha ha).

I have Kioti CK2610 that I'm very pleased with. Just have a fairly small amount of property 6.5 Acres but big(ish) plans and lots of work to do.

I'm not super experienced with tractors, I grew up in an industrial town in Scotland, but now, I'm glad to say I live in Canada, BC, on Vancouver Island, an absolute gem of a place to live. Not saying where you live is bad, or anything.

Anyway, hellooo.

Having watched the Beach Combers for decades, I'd have to ask if a boat wouldn't be more suitable out there?

I think the beachcombers were based on Gibsons, which is pretty much a small scrap of land stuck between the mountains and the sea. Think Norwegian ford. I'm on the main Island, about the size of England. No Matter where you are here though you're not that far from the sea or a massive lake. I do have little boat and manage to get out for salmon and cutthroat trout occasionally.
