Hi I am a golf course superindendent from a small town in northwest Missouri. We have a little 9-hole golf course that I take care of with the help of one other part time worker. So I do a little bit of everything from mowing to spraying to minor mechanical repairs on equipment and irrigation system. We have a 2000 John Deere 4600 HST tractor that we purchased last spring. We use it to mow rough using an 8 foot Rhino finish mower. It is also used to spray with as well as blading and pulling a top dressing machine. We are in the process of looking for a loader. We have been told John Deere does't make the loader to fit this tractor any longer. If anyone has any ideas on that subject I would appreciate the feed back. I have a problem with the hydrostat on the tractor and it is now at the dealer for repair. It is sluggish at times when you change directions. It will hesitate for about 3 to 4 seconds before it reacts. They had changed the fluids and filters but that doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. Now they are say now they are not sure what the problem is and are wanting to break the tractor apart to see if they can see what the problem is. If anyone has had a problem like this would be happy to hear from you. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks
