My name is Don, I'm from the Finger Lakes area. I own a '58 Ford 641 to 'farm' my 9/10ths acre property, and farming for me is almost totally limited to plowing snow from my 100-foot driveway. Luckily for me, since that barely gets the tractor warmed up, the church parking lot needs plowing, and since I'm dressed for the weather, three or four of the neighbors are kind enough to let me plow them out also.
The Ford quit on me in late February, and I used that as an excuse to get a Massey 1705. I'm hoping that will work well with the 3-pt hitch, 4-foot snowblower I've had sitting around, and still get to all the neighbors before I have to head to work. [ And also hoping to figure out the issue with the Ford before then, in the event blowing is way slower than plowing. ]
Anywhich, I've been touring your site for a couple weeks, it seems like you have a TON of knowledge to share and a good sense of humor, to boot. There is a chance I have info to share, but mostly I'm here to get reminded of the things I've forgotten, and learn about things I knew I should have invented but somebody thankfully already did.
So again, hello!
