Hello everyone,
My first thread and thought I would ask if anyone has a preference between a snow blower or a snow plow for the JD X320?
I had a GT275 with a snow plow for years; just sold it; but am thinking about a snow blower this time.

Welcome to TBN!

For your location a front blade on the 320 with a set of chains should clear most snow storms. A front SB for the 320 will set you back a few thousand $ and the amount of 10-20" snowfalls in your neck of the woods is less than 2-3 over a 10 year period.

Then it also depends on your driveway - a paved 12'x200' or stone 15'x500' or more long. Personally if you have a typical a residential drive 100-250' I would opt for the blade and chains. If a long drive (500+') paved a snow blower.

The best of both worlds would be a blade for your 320 for those light to medium storms and a walk behind SB say 9-10 HP with a 28" cut - you can find these used for $600 range in great condition for the heavy storms.
