hello from South Carolina!

Well, I finally did it. I bought a tractor that I can actually drive. I am now John Deere 3032e owner. I have tractors....we seem to keep finding them here and there, but I don't feel comfortable actually operating any of them. We have an old Ford 8N, a gorgeous Massey Ferguson 65 and two Farmall H (not running yet) but I don't like driving them. We also have a beautiful old JD 322 with a 44 loader on it. Just finished getting it going. Very nice machine but way too small for actual farm work. last month my hubby had a small stroke, which left him with left side weakness. so now he can't drive ANY of the old tractors. So I bit the bullet and bought my very own tractor. we have a variety of implements here that will work with it, but I did get the loader and a tiller. What an awesome little tractor. It's amazingly easy for me to drive. I think it was a good decision.

Congratulations on your new tractor and my sympathies for the illness of your husband which brought it about. My wife's tractors are the BXs and when I bought my last machine, a Kubota L5740HSTC, it was with an eye to the time she will be using it. I too have weakness in my left side due to an automobile collision and can't drive most of our tractors nor can she, but the 5740 is so similar she can use it.
