Hello,
I just joined and thought I would introduce myself. I'm a 9th generation farmer from Southern IL. We raise grain, and have beef cattle also. Always been interested in how things work, and working on equipment, but ended up going to school as a mech Draftsman...so still mechanically attached. But now i'm just working on the farm, and doing odd things. I added on some pics for a part of my introduction.
4850 we bought 2 years ago when the 1586's tranny went caput.
The best working tractor on the farm. 3010 that my grandpa bored out to a 3020 spec motor, and put in M&W pistons...that was 5300 hours ago. :laughing:

2166 we bought last year...like a cadillac compared to the old 1660
