Tractor
Massey Ferguson 4708
Greetings everyone,

Thank you for accepting me into the forum.

About a year and a half ago I purchased a Massey Fergusson 4708 4X4.

I am extremly content with the purchase.

But recently I have been having issues with the brake pedals.
The issue presents itself after about 3 hours of the tractor being operated.
Once I press down on the brake pedals to stop, they dont come back up to
their original position.

I feel as if they are lacking backpressure to push them back up, it doesnt feel
as if they get "stuck" or "snag" on anything.

The dealers mechanics have been out to inspect the tractor and resolve the
issues but nothing. They have come and operated the tractor while the tractor
was warm and showing the issue. They have purged the brake lines, calibrated
the brake sensor and adjusted the brakes. NOTHING.

I was hoping to get some help or any feedback to resolve this issue.
The tractor is still under warranty and the master mechanic called me to let me
know they have consulted with the factory and that he should be getting back
with a response in the next week or so.

Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to TBN from Ea WA state. Be interesting to hear what they come up with. I would have said a weak return spring. But the local mechanics have surely checked this.

Welcome to TBN. Weak return spring came to mind first for me too, that is something to check out, sometimes a competent tech can overlook the simple things.
