This is my first effort at a forum, so feel free to help me get things right. I have an old Kubota B7100 D. Got it early 2013 and really like it. I got it from a diesel mechanic and so it seems to run fine. This is my first tractor, my first diesel and my first forum, so I'm pretty much still floating in space.

I have flat land so there's really not much skill to driving, but I would like to learn to use the thing well enough to maybe make a little $ on the side, bush hog and small scraper are my only attachments. I would also like to find an underbelly mowing attachment for it, as well as some other parts to bring it closer to it's former glory. It's re-painted but pretty bare-bones, no lights, hours dial isn't working... That sort of thing.

Sounds like you have a great start, with a well maintained older machine.

You don't mention how much experience (ie. before owning yours) you have with tractors; even us olde-timers get some sobering reminders in the Safety section of the site. Any equipment manual will have some basic guidelines that are important to read, but there are scary and sometimes fatal incidents with off-road machinery that come up every month.

For many brands of tractors, there is a great depth of knowledge amongst the members here. Start with a search for your model number on here, to find many previous discussions about your tractor. If you can't find the answers already on the site (seasoned folks are expected to Look Before Asking, newbies usually get some leeway), start a new thread titled with your question, and you'll usually get feedback.

I've learned a lot hanging around here, and still do - enjoy the site, I'm sure you will.
