NewHolland TC40DA
Just wanted to say hi, and thank everyone here for the great info. which helped me greatly in my tractor purchase.
Signed -up today and am happy to have found such a great site .
I buoght a TC40DA about 7 weeks ago with 45 hrs. on it and it was sold and warranteed as new, also got a 250 TL loader,Woods box scraper-GB72, and a 7ft. New Holland plow blade , for my snow removal this year.

Thanks to the site most all my questions have been answered, mine is back at the dealer now for the creeping hydro problem ,hpoing they get it back to me soon and can shut it up a bit as they are installing the the recall for it :)
and going on 8 weeks seems a bit long for waiting on a plow blade , but we have heard this before ( just want it here before the snow )

Traded a john deere 4110 and paid 30,000.00 total including trade and was wondering how you guys think I did price wise ?
I like the local dealer and they have a good rep around here, I thought the price was fair ,if not good, and so far very happy with it.

Got my fingers croosed not to run into some of the common problems stated here but ,thanks again to the gang here, I at least know what to keep an eye out for, letcha know how she preforms when I get it back

Once again thank - you for all the great information gang

Thanks JC ,
Nice to be here . I am not really up to speed on the computer age but, my better half took some pics of the tractor and she said she will teach me how to post them soon.
Guess my age is really showing , and when I started my landscape business back in the early 80's there was barley a market for it, not like today. I am so far behind I still write bills by hand :) always been told I had more muscle than brains, thanks again for the welcome, the site is great for a tractor nut like me

Hey Lone Oak. I see you're in OC. Same for me, I'm in Rock Tavern over near the Stewart Forest entrance. Where abouts are you? You can PM me if you want. I don't have a feel for pricing on your machine so can't comment to that. I looked at Deere before buying my TN-70A at Chambers in Montgomery. No problems so far and very satisfied with the machine. Best of luck.

hey drivadsl,
I am just right down the road from you , my yard is in cornwall . small world huh.
Bought my tractor from chambers too , my uncle has a farm just past them over the green bridge next to the park when you hit the straight-away on 17k on the left .
talk to you soon neighbor :)

Hey Lone Oak. Small world is right. I drive by your uncles farm all the time either heading up to Rt17, or going to Winding Hills park. Thats a great spot he must have good access to the river. You use the NH for your business or for personal stuff?

I plan on using it for bolth but really havent had much of a chance yet with the new one, the cab is something I an looking forward to this winter plowing .
I only plow a small area off angola rd , mostly the really steep driveways on the back side of storm king mountain, and it is a cold and windy spot, the cab will sure be nice this winter but , part of me will miss the open platform.
At the farm the river runs along the back of the property I am guessing you like to fish. ckeckout the trees we planted around the ponds last week .
We are trying to make it look more like a yard than just fields, my uncle has had the farm for years and retired and moved out there about a year ago now , you must have saw the house bieng built .
If you ever see the blue tractor brushoging , stop and say hi anytime ,next week we will be moving some rocks to build the dam on the pond closest to the park , if you see the old case crawler it's me working on the dam

I read about the troubles the dealer is giving you, hopefully you get your machine back soon to put it to work. But I always admired your uncles place, very picturesque. Next time I'm driving by I'll have to slow down a nd take a closer look. Haven't been that way lately, been running up to Windham to hunt at my MIL's place. Thats where I keep my machine for now for food plots and such. Hope to get up there this saturday. Anyway, welcome to the forum. let me know if you ever need anything.
