I have a 2015 that has developed a serious leak at what appears to be the fitting for the oil tube coming from the Hydraulic block running over the transmission and going into the rear lift. There is what appears to be a brass coupler nut at this point ( at the rear Lift) going into the top of a triangular shaped block that has three bolts holding it on. This is located at the left side of the tractor up under the seat bracket. It sprays oil onto the left rear wheel when the lift is activated but only drips otherwise. Has anyone had this problem? Is it fixable at home? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

I got it fixed. Thanks to the help of my best friend. I told him about it and he helped me track down where the leak was coming from. The fitting was verrry loose, tightened it down and no more leak. That's the kind of repair I like. No $$$. Thanks for all your help.

The 15 series use a hollow bolt with a copper gasket/washer on each side of the steel hydraulic fittings. I call these banjo fittings, but I am not sure if that is the correct technical term. You see this on the back side of the hydraulic block where the loader gets it's power, also under the seat where the line goes on to power the three-point. Some have 2 or 3 of this sort of fitting. It is a great set up, but we do occasionally see one that needs to be snugged up. It's about a 15/16", I use an offset box-end wrench. As part of the routine maintenance, it's a good idea to check these every so often. I will say that once they are tightened, I haven't seen one start leaking again. Just remember, it is a hollow bolt, so don't get carried away with the wrench.
