Ok.. I've had my tractor for almost 10 years now and I've never fully understood the rear remotes. All I know was that if I moved the yellow handle to A or B, it gave my backhoe power. Now that I'm getting ready to use the rear remote for a grapple, I figure I need to ask what both the levers do and why.

As for the yellow handle, I know it allows hydraulic flow to the rear. Can I Assume A flows in one direction and B in the other? I'm guessing that's how you would open and close a grapple. I remember when I bought it, the dealer just told me I could use either A or B for the BH. As for the other red handle, what is it for? Is it to lower or raise the 3pt hitch and/or for something else?

Sorry for being such a noob, but I've never needed anything else attached to the rear before so I just want to make sure my understanding is correct.

BTW, it's been 2 years since I've used my tractor... it's just been sitting with me putting the battery on a trickle charger every month or so... I can't remember half of what all the buttons and knobs did on this thing....

Thanks!

red/orange handle is 3PT control.

Yellow handle is rear remote. Yes, one direction will open grapple and other will close it.

It's been a while (8 years) but I used exactly that set up on my CK20.

Thanks for the info.. And the reason I've been wanting a grapple is because of you. Ever since I saw your original posts, like 8 years ago, I've been wanting one, but never had the need for one. I still don't have a need for it, but I'm planning on buying some land this year and I'm going to need to clear it.

I really wish they still built your light weight Millonzi grapple. I really like the way it performed for you and it looks like it opens much wider than the current light weight grapple .. 50" Wicked grapple.

Yes, I still love my Millonzi which is going strong ten years later (8 years on a DK40se) but if I had to get something else today I'd probably go for the EA compact. I don't remember how it compares to the Wicked in dimensions or price though.
