I have an 87 JD 750 tractor that I want to add a set of remotes to. The deere dealers around me say I need a power beyond kit. They dont have any, cannot order any and cannot give me any literature or help as to how it hooks up. I have an FEL with 1/4 lines but I am trying to power a 3pt log splitter with 3/8 lines. I really dont want to reduce the lines down because I know the GPH on my machine is not optimal for running a log splitter. I have 2 rubber lines that appear to "feed" the 3pt lift that elbow in under the seat. I also have 2 hard lines that come from the pump and go the 3pt valve in the same spot. What do I hook up? I know I need to feed and a return. I have hoses, adapters, Tee's, and QD's ready to go I just dont know where to put everything. I can upload pictures if needed. The splitter has its own valve assembly and 2 lines marked in and out.

Hello, My 1st post. Useful site for those with tractors. I have a 1987 JD 750 with a 3 pt hitch log splitter that I built from Northern Tool parts. A little slow but have split many cords with it. The splitter is plumbed into the power steering circuit in series as shown in the photo. The pressure to the splitter is from the bottom fitting. The return goes to the power steering/loader circuit. Were the 750's in earlier years equipped with the plumbing for power steering as well? I am looking to add remote to operate a small dump trailer, possibly a log splitter at some point as well. I also recently acquired a 3pt mount plug aerator which has a hydraulic cylinder. Lastly, my 750 came with the loader valve assembly, but no levers. I picked up a good used Koyker loader last Fall that was mounted on a 750. Any leads on where I might be able to find the levers used or anyone willing to remove theirs and trace for a plasma cutter pattern? I could trial and error, but want to get 'em right the first time if possible.

D.Baker- I am a new member and I also have a 750 which I want to connect a log splitter, and during my search I found your input on this forum. My splitter is very similar to the one that you had in your pictures. My 750 has a loader installed and I am not sure how to connect the lines (as you did). I would like to install QDs so that I can remove and reinstall as needed but I do not want to cause any issues with the loader installation. Can you (or anyone else) help me with my query? Thank you. JD JP

Just install quick disconnect on the 2 hoses deere750man routed to the rear of his 750 putting a male fitting on one hose and female on other hose. When splitter hyd connection isn't required just connect the male & female QD's together creating a "LOOP".
