Help: Any Massey Dealers out there?

I've just been informed by Jack's that the "Fixed Driveline", Pt# 4263140M91
is out of stock & Massey told him they have no idea if or when it will be avail.

That right? The center PTO shaft that drives all frnt implements on a GC?
When or If?
To be clear, I have an early s/n GC2310 TLB - maybe they're different for newer 2300's ?

I'm hoping there's a lifesaver of a Massey dealer out there that has one in stock.
Anyone?

This certainly would make buying a gc a poor investment would it not?

lbrown- that was not a very nice comment. The massey ferguson just came out with those GC line. your kubotas has it own hiccups as well.

timbrehse- do you have any idea if the pto shaft might be compatible with other brands ? like a 5 ot 7 star spline ?

timbrehse- I'm a bit confused; is the "fixed driveline" you're talking about the 4' driveshaft that goes from the mid PTO up to the quick-hitch subframe in the front?

I would not push the panic button yet. There could be an engineering change, (modification), behind this. Or, they are just waiting for the boat to show up.

Have you E-mailed MF customer service? If not, do so, and insist on being forwarded to the person who is in charge of this. They will eventually comply with this request.

Then, you probably will still not have a firm date. But, at least you will know what is going on.

I've called 4 dealers & got 4 different stories.
I'm just dialing around hoping to find someone that has one in stock.
One dealer near me said if he had a snowblower in stock, he'd sell me the shaft cause snowblower season is winding down.
(Seems the shaft comes as part of the s-blower package)
I bought the broom unused but 2nd hand.

Guess I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I just check that part is on Back Order and is still a good number. They list unkown availability until they get a promise date from manufacturer. I wouldn't get worried they are still going to build them. I would have to call my Parts Coordinate to find out date or get one expedited from the manufacturer.

There is one Dealer that showed they had stock last time they downloaded invenetory:
Waterman Farm Machinery in Sabattus, ME (207)-375-6561
