I won't dispute that at all. My 12" Speeco did my fence & 2 side jobs. It still had a good amount of life left when I sold it. Well the teeth were shot but I got a spare set. Welding a little reinforcement on the collar would have fixed the tearing problem. I just officially spun up a side gig doing tractor work, so I'm guessing I'll easily be putting in a few hundred holes a year now. Puts me past the homeowner class gear a touch. The Pengo and Danuser brands are top of the line. Very good in every regard. They also cost a lot more and for most of us using a 3 point hitch to drill post holes, not worth the extra money. If you go that route, you really should look into a hydraulic motor to run them, and a mount for your front loader to operate it. Even better is to mount one on an excavator!!!! But for most of us, I don't think you can find a better value then the Country Line brand at Tractor Supply.
The Speeco teeth were $12-15 each (inner & an outer). My Pengo teeth were $5 each (needed 4). As near as I can tell both only last a job or 2 (50-200 holes). Likely going for the $10 hard faced teeth next, probably not the $20 carbide ones.
