Help - BH bucket won\'t go on NH757c
I've just spent 2 hours (in 90+ heat) trying to put a new 12" bucket on my BH. I can put either pin - front or rear -OK, but the second one hits a lip on the opposite side. I've pounded on everything I can think of and I've put the bucket in every position. I think the bucket is mis-aligned. I have tried twisting it, but I am not strong enough to get it to move.
I have thought about grinding the pin down, at least taking the square shoulders off. Just from feeling with my finger, I would guess the lip is at least 1/16". I don't know how much of a taper I would need to get by it.
Anyone have a suggestion? I don't want to return it if I don't have to. I'm trying to get some drain pipe in.
Thanks,
