I have a Yanmar 1500D. Was getting ready to do a little maintenance and saw the right front wheel had this leaking from the inside. Can anyone help me identify the problem ?
Thanks
Afraid of that. Where does the new lubricant go in if I can figure out how to replace the seal? Do you know if the seal set up is about the same on these smaller tractors ?
Thanks for the help.
I would look for Yanmar manual online or go to dealer/parts site and see if you can find parts blow up diagram of front axle assembly and you can get idea what is involved... Or just be like me explore by taking it apart...

Go to Yanmar Tractor Parts they have a parts diagram for it. They will have the parts you need and they are GREAT with help and advice. There should be a plug on top of the axle.
Fill with 80-90w gear oil until its covering the axle shaft ( I dont have a Yanmar but it is pretty universal).
That's seal problem for sure, might as well do the other side since you got the tools out...hope you caught it quick enough so you don't have to replace bearings etc.
