Help figuring out what year my Ford tractor is

Guy we bought this from didn't know the year, only info he gave was it came from a rental yard. Picked it up dirt cheap cause didn't run and he wanted it off his property. We know its a Ford and got it running. Anyways trying to identify the year and such. Found some numbers, did some searching online and want to confirm my findings with you guys, because if anyone would know it would be you guys.
Included a overall pic and one of the model and serial number at end of this post.

Model Number : 41300
(Model # seemed to match with what I found online for the Thousand series 1962-1964 2000-4000-6000 Series tractors)
4****- 172 ci gas
*1***- Industrial & Ag models made after 1963
**30*- Utility Type w/non-adjustable front axel (Light industrial)
*1**0- Four speed w/o PTO
Serial Number : 34713
serial #'s 11948 thru 38930 means it's year is 1963

BUT it has a dash panel just like the NAA and Hundred series tractors I noticed. Did the Thousand series have that to?

I have a feeling it's a mixed tractor made up of different ones.

overall pic shows the seat, dash panel, battery and whatever else I thought would be safe to cover (cause I aint a clue) before degreasing it to look for more serial numbers. Only got one side cleaned tonight ill do the other side in the morning and look for more numbers to take pic of and post.

I welcome any corrections, additional info and suggestions.
Just a note after reading a few posts before joining this site: Don't be mean, no flaming, be easy on me, I'm new with all this tractor stuff + i'm a chick a bit more sensitive than you tough men out there. If you think what I say or someone else is an idiot just try to say it in a nice way.

Hi Randy,

Welcome to TBN!

I'm no moderator, but I don't think it can hurt to duplicate this in the Ford Vintage forum.

Please don't worry about getting flamed or insulted, you just have to consider the source.

Most of the threads you see with that stuff going are either comprised of a couple of people with grudges, easily pushed buttons, or a couple of people having bad days, bad lives, bad karma, or are just poorly educated as to manners.

You've already done a pretty decent job of posting the info you have and pictures, but more pictures are always helpful.

Being a female TBN'er pretty much assures that the biggest thing you will get picked about is whether you are really randy (ala Austin Powers) and a lot of old guys flirting with you.

Our in resident expert is Soundguy on all Ford tractor questions...
Especially the older vintage ones...
I think you have a early 4000 series industrial based off of the older 800 series...
My dad has an 861 Powermaster that is a 59 model...
Ford updated those in the early 60's to the 4000 series...

We had a 1962 801 Ford per the dealer and it was the last red gray we were told. I think industrial models are a bit of a wild card in that they may not have changed on a clear year date. The red over blue may not indicate it was sold new in Red. I expect some reds got repainted at the factory since Ford did the color change a couple years before the models when to the new engine and transmissions around 1965. It looks like it is still ready to do some real work. I did see a blue 2000 the other day was to still have OEM paint and labels that looked just like an late 50's 800 series that had the 5 speed double clutch. Transitional years like 63 and 64 are just wild cards and could be a concern when getting parts. We ran into that on our old 2002 325 Magnum Polaris that went to 330 Magnum in 2003. It seems it uses the 2003 rear brake pad for example.
