I am looking for a 6 foot Midwest Equipment 22 series rear blade for my tractor. Unfortunately Midwest doesn't have any regular dealers in Colorado and the local dealers don't want to talk about anything besides Landpride and Frontier blades. I like the features and adjustments built into the Midwest 22 series. Anyone know of a source not too far from Colorado? What kind of price has anyone paid recently for one of these blades? Thanks.

They are built about 50 miles from my house, after looking at them I would choose a heavier built Land Pride over a Midwest. LandPride equipment is better built (on their heavy duty or medium duty stuff) than Midwest.

Here is the link to Midwest: MidWest Equipment

Check with your local Kioti dealer. Midwest makes their box scrapers.

Also someone here on TBN said that Midwest was now making the Frontier stuff for JD. I have not verified that so take it for what it's worth.

midwest or one of there other dealers wont send you one?

1) find pallet
2) put rear blade on pallet
3) strap down
4) ship
5) proffit

seems simple to me...

I don't know if they still will or not, but Midwest used to ship to customers that didn't have a dealer anywhere close. You might give them a call or shot them an e-mail.

I emailed Midwest several weeks ago asking about dealers in my area and never got a response. Not sure what their deal is. I wonder if they are happy just making stuff that gets sold under other names.

BTW, I recently purchased a Frontier rear blade RB2184 that turned out to be made by Tecnomec Agricola (???). Dealer said he had another one in stock that was not made as well - I don't know who made that other one. Dealer also says the Frontier box blade BB2184 is now made by Worksaver.

I dealt direct with Midwest once. Unfortunately, I threw away all the papers, phone no's, etc. I don't think they'll deal with you if you have a distributor near but that only makes sense. If you're determined, find their phone number and call them.

For a rear blade, though, I'd just buy whatever's close, maybe even a used one. Look on Craig's list. None of them are very expensive, they all do the same thing.
