I've been trying to find an R4 or something like it for my 1648. I'm been told from the dealer they were only R1 models... which I found R4s in a product book as in option but nothing else about ordering or part numbers. The drive ratio is 1.61 and I'm told by the tire stores I'll have to get new rims to match the R4 tires. Loaded we are talking 750lbs each... so not exactly something I can do at the farm. The dealer said, "we don't do tires." I found a tire place but no rims...
I just want a simple, go buy these rims... and these tires... and you will be great!
Anyone?
Current R1 Tires:
Front Tire Size Width, 4WD - 9.5 x 16 6PR R1
Rear Tire Size Width - 13.6 x 28 6PR R1
This is what Titan said might work:
Based on a mechanical ratio of 1.61 a front 10-16.5 4393D1 Titan HD2000 or 49E3D1 8PR Titan HD2000II and a 16.9-24 486645GY 6PR Goodyear Industrial Tractor Lug should give a positive 2.05% lead. These are industrial R4 tires. You can see pictures of the tires on our website.
A first question would be do you have room for the OD of the tires and the width of the tire on your tractor? Front 10-16.5 are 10.3 wide and 30.6 OD on a 8.25肺16.5 rim. The rear 16.9-24 is 17.9 width and 51.3 OD fitting on a 15肺 24 rim. Second question would be getting rims made to fit your tractor off set and bolt pattern. That will need to be determined by the company who makes the rims for you. Titan does not offer customer rim manufacturing.
