Help for a Yanmar ym155D

MY GUESS IS IT CAME FROM THE INSIDE OF AN ALTERNATER. I THINK IT'S CALLED A HEAT SINK.

Thanks for your reply . The issue is, I've plugged the batterie in the wrong way....:shocked:.. Then this part started to smoke.. Then the tractor was not able to start at all. I've got the light on the dashboard but nothing happen when I try to start it.
