From what I read the Rd500 is a flow divider not a priority valve, If I am reading correctly it is to split a flow into two parts, but the one flow can be used for priority circuits.
RD200 Series: These pressure-compensated flow dividers split one inlet flow into two nearly equal outlet flows and are for use in systems including double-acting cylinders or birotational motors. Pressure compensation maintains the divider ratio with quite different loads on outlet ports provided that inlet flow falls within the recommended range. 3,000 PSI max.

in my under standing a priority valve sends a stream of fluid to a device regardless of the demands of the rest of the system, (at least that is what is done on my tractor for the steering).

is adjustable so one should be able to adjust the flow to the steering valves needs, and then it should go back to the tank, and the other side should run the rest of the hydraulics,
that is what priority means is things that need to work regardless of the other items PRIORTY, steering and brakes, and the other is secondary, items that may be interrupted at times with out danger or safety problems,
on many valves if I operate the first valve in the series only that circuit will function until I reduce the flow or stop, the purpose of the priority circuit is to keep fluid flowing to the steering at all times, if one put a tee in the line then you defeat the purpose of the circuit, because there is no longer a priority to the flow, it is general flow,
(and if your system is open center most likely you will be dumping (return Line) the fluid through the center of the valve you have it tee off to or vice versa).
if you want to work more valves down line you need a power beyond valve, (it is different than using the return as the pressure is not building up in the return circuits of the first valve, there is a by pass sleeve that carries the pressurized fluid to the next valve, or valve stack.
