I got a Cub Cadet LT2180 for free. It has set unused for about 2 years. I was told it stopped running and they bought another mower. After I got it home I decided to see if it would run. The normal thing to do would be to get on it and turn the key. Unsurprisingly nothing. The next thing to do is leave the key on and jump directly across the starter. Surprisingly the battery wasn't dead and it turned over. The battery didn't have much juice so I gave it a shot of starting fluid to save cranking. It fired right up and died. I repeated this several times. Then I keep spraying it to keep it running. After about a minute it still wasn't running on its own so I gave up. Next,I checked to see if it's getting fuel to the carburetor. It is. I attempted to pull the carburetor off and I can't get to the mountings screws. In fact I can't even see them. There is some kind of electronic sensor in the carburetor.
