Hello all,

I found a loader for sale on the side of the road the other day and I'm hoping to identify it and find out if I can mount it on my Ford 3000 gas.

Can anyone help? The only model indicator I can see is it says 394 on one side, the rest is long worn off.

Thanks,

Ken

Looks to be fairly HD, perhaps a bit much for you tractor but hard to say.
Eveballing it compared to the truck bed puts it about 48" wide so probably if you weld and are handy you might be able to adapt.

The bucket is 6' wide, it's 28" inside the frame where it would mount to the tractor. The C frame arms are 51" long.

A quick measurement of the tractor makes it look possible, but there may be interference with some of the steering arms/linkages.

Looks like Allied loader.

Heres a link to farm king allied loaders Request Rejected

You'll see they still offer a 395 loader possibly the replacement for the 394?? I searched the mounting kits and there are 2 listed for the 3000 Ford.
Was that loader in a fire? It has that look to it .

Thomas - Spot on, it's an Allied 394.

Winmac - Thanks, I'll give Allied a shout and see if there's still mounting kits available and compatible.

Whis - Why do you say that, and how could I tell?

The guy's only asking $300, so it seems like even if it needs new hoses and maybe even cylinders it would still likely be a good buy.

If the loader has been through a fire you cannot rely on the strength of the steel. Should it fail under load it could kill you.

A fire is also likely to have warped dimensions so it will not work right.
