2009 Club Cadet Yanmar EX2900
Hey guys.
I bought my tractor used and the previous owner lost this threaded section on the other side. Naturally, you can't just replace it with threaded rod since it is reverse threads on half of it. I'll buy all the linkage here if i have to, but i'm having trouble identifying the name of this part and drilling into a part number.

Any help would be great.
Thanks!!!

I think i found it. Searching "Sway chain" got me some good results.

If the thread rod is what you are missing, and you know the bolt size and thread pitch, you might find a useable piece on a turnbuckle from most any hardware store.
Regardless of even if you buy the entire assembly (I would guess item 33 on your parts list not diagram) if it does not come with a jam nut, go to your local hard ware store and get 2 nuts (1 for each side) to use as a jam nut to prevent it from unthreading for future use.

I did some looking, most places said it was not available.
Messick’s listed it and has a button to add to cart. However the right and left handed threaded rod was listed st $75.xx

The entire assembly was over $200
Your overall
Length seems short but may just be
a drawing distortion. Surely there are less expensive alternatives.

Check these to see if the overall length works.

Thanks. I think this is the direction i'm going to go. I don't mind fab'ing up something custom if I have to. Maybe this will be my excuse to buy a welder and put some threaded rod back to back to make my own turnbuckle.

$200 would be insane for this. It has the look of $20. :)
