It looks a lot like mine. I've been told mine is a MOTT. It may be an Interstater, or an F6 has been guessed on mine. That pancake gear box being mounted from the rear is like mine that I've been trying to match up. I emailed Alamo and they said they had never sold one with a tubular 3 point like mine and that must be a change done by someone.

PS I have a parts list manual with pictures and diagrams dated 1965 from Mott in PDF form on the F4 F5 F6 you are welcome to if you want it. Just Pm me an email address.

Typical lying crap coming from Alamo GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Mott used those gearboxes and a good gear place can match up a new one as long as you can give them the mounting plate dimensions and have a gearbox that uses the 6 spline 540 RPM shafts you will be fine.

If you can find a Boston Gear retailer they can help you and it would be worth a call to flailmaster and Wengers of Myerstown PA.

I meant the tube frame 3 point Leonz that they (Mott) didn't ever make. Not the gearbox.

Yes it's a Warner gearbox. I believe you told me that when I first got it a couple three months ago.
My gearbox is fine. Just I see most of them mounted to the front. Still trying to definitively ID it so I can find an owners manual and using that feature to narrow it down.

Those Interstators had two rear swivel wheels and the rear hitch on the mower allowed the user have a big herd of towed Mott Motorized Flail Mowers on a gang hitch using 4 or more motorized flail mowers wide with the Mott Interstator in the center at the same time covering a huge amount of ground.
The triangle tubular frame made this Mott very strong so it could be used to tow the motorized Mott Flail Mowers behind it.

Still looking for a three point hitch mounted Mott Flail mower with the Wisconsin V-4 air cooled engine.

Do you mean they have nothing in inventory to match up?? A napa store or farm and Fleet should be able to get them for you make sure you replace both of them. you can get them from Mcmaster Carr too as long as the numbers on the bearing races are legible.

Its a common bearing, do you have a Kaman industrial supply nearby? Any Timken bearing bearing dealer can help you too as all bearings are metric- DO NOT BUY A chinese bearing UNLESS you know it comes from a bearing manufacturer in TAIWAN.

No numbers are legable on the bearing, which of course means measuring and a little trial and error. Since suppliers and inventory are limited in a town of about 5K in population, we arn't graced with an abundance of vendors dealing in such parts, and of course first choice is local supply availability to get the mower back in service.
Thanks to lenny's post we have a probable ID on the mower and have what seems to be the proper bearing ordered.
