I have a LT1024 (24hp B&S 50"deck) that only has 16.7 hrs on it and has been garage kept and well maintained since purchasing in 8/04. Almost everything seems to be working fine, but the top end speed and ability to climb inclines is noticeably slower than it was originally. Any suggestions? New belt? New spring? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

New spring should be what the doctor ordered.
