Shhh... The deal is, Dad pays the insurance to add the p/u to the policy, she pays the 'youth driver' surcharge (actually, a very reasonable $200/6mo.) and gas to drive to and from her summer job. I can assure you, she is enjoying the independence as well as quickly learning the value of a buck and a light foot on the gas pedal.
