Help me identify my antique tractor

Can someone help my identify my antique tractor. It's had some engine trouble, so I've torn it down and I've actually found the number punched into the block. But I can't identify the tractor or the engine with this number. The tractor looks like a Ford and is Ford grey, but the serial number doesn't seem to match to a Ford. The serial number is SC31074E. Can someone please help me identify this machine, so that I can order the right parts and get it back up and running. Thank you in advance for your time.

A picture is worth a thousand words! Also, is the serial number on the LH ledge behind the engine, the engine block, where is this number?

The early Fords had the serial number on the left side of the engine, just below the head. The number you state doesn't look like any of the serial numbers.

Also, state at least the country you're in. Fords are all over the world.
